How to Use SnellvillePride.com

Welcome to the new Snellville Pride website.  We're proud to present many new features for Snellville residents and visitors alike.  Here's a quick guide to help you get the most out of it.

For Users

We've added many new features to the site that will help you get the most out of Snellville.  The first thing you'll notice is the search bar just below the menu.  Type in the name of a company or the category that interests you in the Keyword box, click Search, and you'll see a list of related companies and organizations.  If you're in the events section you'll see matching events, in the classified section, matching classifieds.

The website is designed to work with social media, and we invite you to create an account, or sign in with Facebook or Open Directory.  That way, you'll be able to rate and comment on businesses or events and take advantage of Deals companies offer.  Don't worry -- we won't use or sell your email address.  Once you create your account, you'll be able to create your own profile page right here on the site. You'll also be able to add companies and events to your Favorites for quick reference.

Once you've created your profile, you can sign in using the links at the very top of each page. Feel free to take advantage of our free classified ads, information about Snellville area businesses and the calendar of events.

A Heck of a Deal

Many Snellville businesses will be offering Deals on the site.    Deals are a great way to save money on things you use every day.  To redeem a deal, just log into your account and claim it.  The deal will be sent to your phone for redemption at the merchant, or you can print out a coupon to bring in.

How do you find out about the latest Deals on the site?  One way is to check the Deals page on a regular basis, but we'll also be posting the latest Deals on our Twitter and Facebook pages, so if you're a social media user, be sure to follow us.

For Businesses and Organizations

We encourage area businesses and organizations to list themselves on the website.  We've seeded the site with information about many businesses already, drawn from Snellville business license information.  If your business is already listed, click on the 'Is this your business' link below your listing to claim your business. 

We provide three levels of listings to use for your business.  All are free, except for the full-page Diamond listing, which is $150 per year, and includes membership in the Snellville Commerce Club.  Even if you don't want premium exposure, you still should claim your business and upgrade to the free Gold listing, which increases your exposure and provides more information about your company to site visitors.

By the way, if you are a non-profit organization (church, sports team, scout troop, service club, etc.), we'll be glad to send you a promotion code that will let you have a Diamond listing at no cost.  Just email directory@snellvillepride.com with the information about your organization, and we'll send you a code you can use.

Events, Classifieds and Articles

You don't have to have a business or organization listing to take advantage of our free events, classified ads and article postings.  You'll need to create a Sponsor Account to do this (or upgrade your user account to a Sponsor account).  That way, you'll be able to manage what you've posted.  So if your group is planning a charity car wash, if you have a regular club meeting or your business is planning something special, make sure to create an event so everyone will know about it.

If you're going to have a garage sale, if you want to sell your car, or you've found a lot pet, be sure to put it in our classifieds section. If you're knowledgable about some topic and want to share the information (good recipies, anyone)? put your thoughts into an article on the site.
